Friday 6 April 2012: Flying over...
The Alps
Early start today woke up at 3 am, ready to drive to Edinburgh and catch the flight at 6.35 am ;)
Arrived in Rome just in time for a late breakfast on a stunning sunny day.
To reach my parents house there is a beautiful drive in the campagna romana that inspired the painters who flocked into Rome in 18th and 19th centuries and it is something that never stop to amaze me.
