Tuesday 10 April 2012: cuddles and sport....
There is so much I love about my blip today....however the story behind it makes it just that bit more endearing. After a very unsettled night, where not much sleep was had,all adult nerves were a little frayed!Ruari didnt hesitate to take him off into the lounge to watch a bit of footie on tv.
My blip was taken minutes later.Ruari glued to the action on the tv,and Ollie snuggled into him peacefully snoring!
Perhaps Ollie is a little bit young to appreciate sport in the way that Ruari does, but he clearly feels comfy and cosy in his uncles arms.
And I think it takes a special young man who, at 13, wants to participate in the care of his new nephew.....and risk not hearing the footie results as they come in!He is always ready to give him a cuddle, regardless of what he is doing, and is keen to feed him, change nappies (yep, even the dirty ones!) and get him dressed after a bath.
Ollie brings so much joy ...and I find it so heartwarming watching the interactions of all those who meet him,and the relationships flourish. He is such a lucky little boy to be surrounded by love, and we are equally lucky to have him in our lives.
Family where life begins and love never ends~unknown
