Tuesday 10 April 2012: Sailing under the bridge

When I was cycling home from work this afternoon, I was almost stopped by the raising of the Leamington Bridge but the kind official left me through the chain barrier before he raised the bridge. Here's a blip I took from the other side as the barge filled with school children, sailed through to the canal basin. I wonder how far they'd been sailing?

It's our wedding anniversary today, 33 years! Looking forward to a candle-lit dinner with hubby this evening :o)
