Snow ....

I was quite surprised to see the sleet this morning and even more surprised, on my walk this afternoon, to see that the Pentlands had some snow on them.

I thought you might like to see the High Pond with snow behind as it's a while since I blipped it. The tufted ducks, little grebes and Canada geese were there today. There were only 2 Canada geese and they came over expectantly, but I didn't have anything for them. I wonder how they got last year's offspring to go away? (That's presuming it is the parents who are left).

I saw a long tailed tit in a tree in the walled garden; I've only ever seen them in our garden before.
