Tuesday 10 April 2012: I, Cloudius

The sky looked quite interesting tonight so I popped up to the moor to see what I could make of it.

There were so many cloud formations, colours, rain clouds drifting, shedding their watery gifts and kindly passing me by. It was all very dramatic. It was also very cold!

This, while not the most technically brilliant of shots (don't go large...) was the best illustration of all the drama that was going on. It's a triple exposure HDR. I suspect it may work better in mono but I couldn't get it right. The anvil cloud at the bottom left kept disappearing when I tried!
