Tuesday 10 April 2012: Growing Big

Day 10:
We had our final scan today. What an amazing experience they are.

Today we could clearly make out little baby 'breathing'. Ok, so there wasn't any air but baby was busy practicing to strengthen the muscles, that little chest moving in and out quite clearly on screen.

We are really happy, baby is growing well. Perfectly average on all measurements - I don't think I have said it often, but sometimes it's fantastic to be spot on average.

Today I'm grateful for:
- My boss letting me be flexible in when I work so I can make it along to these things.

- Our new mattress. For the last month I've slept wonderfully and all those niggles in my back that I was having have cleared up.

- The doctors at the hospital were 100% happy with babys progress despite them originally putting S1 in the 'higher risk' category (as opposed to 'normal'). I'm definitely very grateful for that!
