Ahakista Pier

Typical April weather today, bright sunshine, then heavy showers, so I got the spring cleaning bug big time and blitzed the barn, the retreat shed and the house, quite satisfying really! Managed a walk around the land and out onto the commonage between the showers, the fresh green leaves and blossoms were wet and sparkling in the sunshine. Feeling a bit uninspired about supper when my neighbours rang suggesting supper at the local pub, great, feeling like I deserved a treat after all that cleaning!
This is a view of the small pier in Ahakista, taken from the beer garden at Arundells Bar. The evening light was just wonderful.
