The Blackcountry Man

Wing and a Prayer.....

This is the view as we approach San Diego California, The ground is coming up very fast as we descend to the runway.
After a flying start through Gatwick to the check in desk we boarded the plane right on time only to find some mechanics had taken the port engine to bits and couldn't put it back together again (I sound like Humpty Dumpty here).
It was something to do with the Titanium screws that held the cowling on, they seemed to be stuck fast.
after 2 hours of waiting on the plane we were off to our first port of call, Charlotte, a lovely part of America although we only saw the airport and then we boarded the next plane for San Diego our final destination.
After 24 hours we reached our hotel had a bite to eat and crashed out for the night.
Tomorrow we will board the ship and be off on our cruise.

This is a Back Blip as we were too tired to put it on on Monday.
