Autumn Colours....

The start of the bike trail - Dover Pass, across the Pukaki Flats to Twizel.

Woke to crap weather....again, so planned cycle to the Tasman valley aborted. Biked Dover Pass following Lake Pukaki shoreline where this photop was taken, track just been completed and very easy biking; weather ok at this stage but turned into total horridness as we biked across the Pukaki flats. It became frekn icy cold, minimal visibility with driving rain.....it was just survival.

One bike broke the gears....same biker lost his car keys....all sorted now.

We on cooking duty tonight...12 hungry mouths presently being lubricated.
I have just served "befores ".....will I have time for a G & T too?
