THE GOSLING
is much bigger now. She runs towards me to get some food. She jumps from the waterside in one splash in the pond. She sleeps peacefully in the grass while her parents make an enormour flight tour round the block of flats.
It is a cold morning, but the sky is heavenly blue!
In the afternoon I will cycle to the dentist, quite a distance from my home, but if they can hold the foretold rain a bit back, it will be a nice trip, because I will choose a green path to reach her. Through the dunes and the parks. The Hague is a very green city in most areas.
My haiku:
Looking up I see
In the green weeping willow
The heron's new nest
And the proverb:
No one masters her/his craft the first day.
