Wednesday 11 April 2012: Murphy's at it again!
A couple of years ago we planted a sedum roof on the flat concrete over the utility room, thinking it would impress our guests using the spare bedroom. It's not doing very well to put it mildly. Once the trays were weeded recently, they looked sorry and half naked. Not what you want to look out on. Yet the sedum that seeded itself on the old stump is rampant with new growth.
