Wednesday 11 April 2012: THE BIG GUNS
I did some cooking today and ended up with a very stubborn stain on my enamel casserole dish. I soaked it but that didn't work so then I applied the cream cleaner to it but that didn't work either. In the end out came the scouring powder. It was the last resort and worked a treat.
The scouring powder tub is probably some sort of historical item by now as it must be 20 years old. It came, originally, from the house of my friend's grandfather-in-law (is there such a relation?) when his house was cleared after his death. I only use it in direc circumstances as I am not sure if you can still obtain scouring powder.
