Cuckoo Flower

On the way to a doctor's appointment this morning I took a short cut through the churchyard and I spotted that the first Cuckoo Flowers of spring are starting to appear. They are so pretty and delicate!

The churchyard is proving to be a good source of photo opportunities for me at the moment because parts of it are a bit overgrown, so there are lots of interesting things hidden amongst all the grass!
