Wednesday 11 April 2012: Crossing the Road

It's that time of the year when the walk down to the station is rewarded by shadows and light, at least on mornings when the sun is shining.

This is a point where a sleepy track, Silson Lane, meets the busier Station Road, a large expanse of metalled road which also has some of the more archaic and impressive cast iron inspection covers in the village, telling stories of councils and municipal utilities that no longer exist.

Earlier, I'd popped into Hallcliffe Community garden to secure a "Green" photo for today's Bradford Photo a Day challenge.

Ooh, and maybe you could go and congratulate my niece @Charlalaliz on her 100th blip today.
