Wednesday 11 April 2012: Capelaw summit
Many thanks for all the lovely congratulations yesterday on our anniversary. We had a great meal at Bia Bistro at Holy Corner.
This morning I went for another jog up Capelaw to see if there was any snow left after yesterday's storm. It was almost all melted (about time, too!), but I thought I would take a blip of this metal object which I have always assumed marks the summit of Capelaw. This hill has a very long and flat top, and so it's not obvious where the highest point is, but I think this is it. Does anyone know the history behind these two parallel posts which are about 6 feet high?
