Thursday 12 April 2012: Lucy
Today we went to watch 'The Pirates and the Scientists' at the pictures, Lulu loved her first trip to the flicks and Beanie cuddled up on my lap and slept through the whole thing! Lulu now knows who Charles Darwin is: a funny Wallace and Gromit style character who is trying to kidnap a dodo with the aid of a monkey butler... It's a shame this film wasn't out last semester; it could have been a great resource for teaching Darwinism to my students...
Lulu also experienced her first hailstorm this afternoon. She watched quietly for a while from inside the coffee house, and then said 'there are sweets raining from the sky'. She is just magical X
