Thursday 12 April 2012: Snakeshead Fritillary.

I love these delicate little flowers, with their nodding heads.
They are really a wild flower, that has been domesticated for garden use.
I think they look their best when growing in an orchard or a wildflower meadow.
It has been another day of mixed weather, and not very warm.
