Thursday 12 April 2012: Dancing Feet!

Today was the day of the Quaver Family Picnic!!!

Off we trekked to the beach (Currie Sands, Islay).

Mr Q was in charge and he is nothing if not prepared for all eventualities!

We took with us:-

the picnic tent, the stove, the gas for the stove, the frying pan, the sausages, the rolls, the kettle, yes that's right, the kettle, the chair for Grandma, the water for the tea, tea bags, cups, spoons, utensils for turning the sausages, the chocolate biscuits (well, it is the holidays), the anti-bacterial hand wash which is obligatory for anyone being within 20 metres of the raw sausages!

The sausages were cooked to perfection, the tea was piping hot (we remembered the milk), we built a car in the sand - a rather nifty cabriolet with 2 seats, and Semi-quaver ran up and down the beach chasing the waves.

We had a great day!
