Thursday 12 April 2012: K is for Kiwi: new leaves

The sun came out briefly a little while ago so I "ran" outside to photograph the kiwi for the alphabet challenge.

This is a mini-kiwi - the fruit is about the size of a peanut (including the shell). It's climbing up and across a pergola at the side of our house. At the other end is a star jasmine, which I could have used for Week J, but Jesus won out.

I love the shadows of the other leaves behind the ones in front.
