Thursday 12 April 2012: Pie-in-process
We didn't have ANY apples last year, but this year's blossoms make me hopeful. Maybe we can exceed the grand total of 8 we harvested in 2010. If not, there's always 2014.
In the meantime, I'm dreaming of almond-paste-filled apple cake ...
Also, IT'S THE WEEKEND! Oh glory! glory! I have the day off tomorrow to celebrate what would have been my Papa's birthday. I'm so happy I could 'splode. I will work in the garden and plan my flowerbed and veggie patch in his honour. I'm sure he'd like that :)
