Head down the street in search of flowering blips.
INTERCEPTED BY
Lovely Dovey
Who was scrambling up breakfast in our neighbor's yard.
I paused watching her.
BUT THEN
She came closer.
Was that recognition in her dark eyes?
Closer.
Closer still.
