Saturday 7 April 2012: Rain on the water
Saturday we drove from Auckland to Paihia which is a lovely small holiday seaside town in the beautiful Bay of Islands up North.
It took just over 3 hours which wasn't too bad considering the heavy long weekend traffic.
Late afternoon we took the ferry from Paihia to Russell. As we were almost at Russell the rain suddenly came - and I took this shot.
Couldn't really do much when there due to the rain, so did what most people were doing - went to the pub!
We were only there for about an hour or so amd the ride back was quite nice as the sun was setting.
