Monday 9 April 2012: Marae carving
From Paihia we popped down the road to see the Waitangi Treaty Grounds - which to our pleasant surprise was Free to New Zealand residents with ID.
We looked through the house, the grounds - and amaaazing view out over the bays - and of course the Te Whare Runanga Marae which is where I took this shot.
