Friday 13 April 2012: Ready for the Ugly Bug Ball!!!
So .......... I took almost 150 shots of this bug until he got bored and flew away - out of those, I've kept five!
Yes, five from 150 and this was the best ..... very disheartening - I need a macro lens - soon!!!!

The bug is astride a Cape Marigold (aka Rain Daisy aka African Daisy) - the flower is extremely pretty and I will probably take some shots of that tomorrow to show you all.
To be fair to myself this was handheld and no macro lens - so maybe not a bad effort but not as sharp as I would like.
Personal mantra ..... I will do better, I must do better, I want to do better ........ I WANT A MACRO LENS
