Friday 13 April 2012: TheEssence of Beauty at Kelvingrove
A visit to the latest exhibition of "500 years of Italian Art". Very interesting and I learned things from what I read and looked at. Could have coped with it being twice the size, however. I also wish I had £45 to spare for the beautiful 'coffee table book' which accompanies this exhibition! Mercifully they have a mini catalogue at £5.99.
The exhibition is downstairs, but my favourite Kelvingrove shots are up on the gallery floors. Fantastic to see the place mobbed with all generations enjoying this magical place!
