Thursday 12 April 2012: Kenmore and Loch Tay from above
After a brilliant day yesterday of white water rafting and lovely walks today is our last day in Kenmore, cannot believe how quickly the week has gone!! The rafting was such an amazing experience, so much fun! Got very wet and it even decided to throw the heaviest hail shower I have ever seen but we stayed upright, nobody fell in and we managed to make it through all of the rapids and waterfalls in one piece!! Fish and chips and a warm shower went down a treat afterwards too. Only slight downer was that cameras and water dont mix so we dont have any pics....will just have to do it again! :)
Today we are going to Bruar falls after our walk up Drummond hill. The views from the viewpoint near the top were spectacular! Kenmore, Loch Tay and the surrounding area looked lovely from all the way up there! Great way to finish the holiday. Have so many things we didn't get to do that we will just have to come back...hopefully this summer!
Now back to work tomorrow and a lovely 5am wake up call....suuuuuper :\
