Looking at NUON

Seen from our coolingwaterinlet.
That is a large duct, pointing into the Eems estuary, and through that duct a constant flow of 42,5 cubic meters of seawater is coming in. When unit Eems 20 (EC20) was still in service an amount of 18 cubic meters per second could be added up.
We went there to take pictures of a sailing ship, owned by the brother of Eddy (senior production technician).
His brother was sailing to Borkum but the majority of it's speed came from the outgoing tide....
