Friday 13 April 2012: Mackenzie
One of my favourite drives ever, is the drive through the Mackenzie basin.
Leave Fairlie, through Burkes pass and then you turn the corner and see the mountains. Always inspires me, love it. And then 2 hours later you arrive in Wanaka, and you know you're on holiday!
Which was lucky, as the day started our very frantically. Client follow-ups, a one hour phone conference, further bike fitting, car packing, Instead of getting away at 1, we left at 3.30.
Oh well, on holiday.
