Saturday 14 April 2012: A Moorland Breakfast

While the porridge was bubbling, along came Mr Blackbird with an offering of worms. While our lawn is the Blackbird family's regular hunting ground, this is the first time I've seen him perched on on our washing line pole. He's been busy, so I guess the young ones have hatched.

This may well have been the highlight of the day, although the garden wall was also the subject of today's Bradford Photo a Day challenge on the theme of "texture".

We won't mention the football.
