Saturday 14 April 2012: You Know My Name

Evening all,

We've had a bit of a break from feeding the squirrels, and clearly they're happy to be back filling their faces.

I was under the mistaken impression that we were putting feed out for the birds, in fairly robust metal and wire feeders....how wrong was i!

Woke up this morning to a bird feeder on the floor and a gaggle of squirrels having an early breakfast at the base of the tree.

Honestly it was like the equivalent of a woodland transport cafe, no fast food for these boyos, they were clearly settling in for a good feast, a bit of a gossip and use of the facilities before moving on.

I'm not going to upset them though, one of them has bitten through the metal links that support the feeder, it must have teeth like a James Bond villain!
