Saturday 14 April 2012: Blousey tulip
I love tulips when they are half way through their flowering life, when they almost explode. I have been attempting to paint some all week - the intensive colours are tricky to mix!
Very excited today as we have booked cheap train tickets and hotel to have a mini break in Leeds in May. We want to go and see David Hockney's work at Saltair and visit York and Harrogate. Never been further north than Liverpool so it will be an interesting train trip.
