Completion!

After a lot of work, over a very busy year, with hardly a break, with only extremely minimal help, we have built on a sitting room!

After digging down several feet for the foundations, and then laying the concrete floor, we built and put up the wood work. That was a mammoth effort and not a day to forget! Them it started looking like a room, and we even fantasised about one day eventually sitting in it!

Once the windows went in we were able to put it on the back burner for a while and concentrate on the kitchen. When we'd moved into the kitchen, we got back to the sitting room, and here it is, finished! The guys came to fit the carpet on Thursday and so we could finally collect our furniture from storage at our neighbours and start using it! And it is absolutely wonderful - and the views aren't bad either!
