Saturday 14 April 2012: THRUSH

Quiet Saturday. Just catching up with household chores.

Had a phone call this morning from my daughter Becky - she was on the train going to Brighton. Tomorrow she is taking part in The Brighton marathon. Its her very first marathon - she is running for charity - The Stroke Association in memory of her Dad who died of a stroke. Apologies for anyone in Brighton but she is hoping for rain and cooler weather as she hates running when the weather is warm. Her brother Neil did the London Marathon in 2008 and took 4 hours 27 mins so this is her target time .. sibling rivalry eh. In truth her only target is to finish. Good luck Becky.

Went out into the garden this afternoon to practice with my new camera and this lovely thrush came down to feed. Its amazing how many birds I see in the garden since Bobby isn't around.
