Once More For The Crowd

Lazy day today, then found out late in the day that my daughters group had been picked to be a part of then end of ballet comps concert....so, once more, for the crowd, we did the hair and make up and rushed off for the performance. This is a really bad shot, taken from the gallery where the dancers can stand to watch and sometimes parents as well, if you weren't able to get a ticket. Two of the girls were missing todaybut they managed to pull it off ok. This is the end pose. There was a fanastic pair of tap dancing males there, man I would love to be able to tap like that! Can't wait till my girl starts tap lessons as apparently the teacher prefers the parents to learn for free alongside the children so that it's easier for them to learn!! Yippee for me, would of loved to have been able to attend tap classes as a kid...sometimes dreams to become a reality for the little person too I guess ;)

My youngest, almost 2, is reaching those terrible twos. She's decided she likes the role of prima donna. She'd also make a good candidate for a special on that programme 'Destroyed In Seconds'...tonight to got a full jar of night cream and it was literally gone as quick as she picked it up...then after the concert, she was unpacking the ballet bag and spraying herself with deoderant and hairspray and I didn't see her take off with the liquid eyeliner!! All over her hands and some of her clothes.....little b*&^h.
