Sunday 15 April 2012: Come on dad, where's that food?
We went to the park this morning, because there was a Spring show on. It poured with rain as soon as we got out of the car, but we headed for the marquees where we could shelter. On the way we passed the lake and were so surprised to see that three chicks have hatched since I blipped the nest on 10th April. I think there will be more to follow, as there were eggs still in the nest.
We went on to the show, where there were lots of exhibits of Daffodils, and Tulips and a fantastic kitchen garden with every kind of fruit and vegetable you could imagine, but the rest were stalls selling fudge, cup cakes, chips and sandwiches. We gave those a miss, as we wanted to go to a nice coffee shop that we know, after leaving the park.
