Sunday 21 September 2008: Sarande, Albania.
Was in Albania for the first time today. Weather was beautiful. The country is basically still going through a transitional period, and still has a kind of third world feel about it. With decrepit buildings on one hand and half finished new builds on the other. The potential is there and the people, although quite menacing looking, were very friendly.
Had a stroll around town, then sat on the waterfront and enjoyed a few beers. Bliss!!
