Saturday 14 April 2012: Sardines

On my second dive today with MrsCyclops, off Pigeon Point in the north of St Lucia, we had an amazing experience with sardines.

First they flowed toward us like a wall of liquid metal, then for about 10 minutes we were engulfed inside the biggest school of fish I've ever seen. There were millions and millions and millions of them - fish everywhere.

Sadly this photo can't even begin to convey the amazing experience, but at least it will serve as a reminder!
