Sunday 15 April 2012: Lock up your men
After my rather wonderful treat yesterday you'll understand I was feeling sad to be leaving Edinburgh. It's amazing how quickly you can acclimatize to luxury and how painful it feels to wave bye bye to it back blip. However, on exiting the hotel, I spotted this gang making their way through the narrowed pedestrian pathway (courtesy of the tram works) and couldn't help but smile. They told me they had been drinking since 1pm Friday. Amazingly they were still standing. They were off to get a picture of Anne, second set of deeley-boppers in, straddling a canon. Apparently traditional for hens in Edinburgh?! Then hunt down some "Scottish beef" (their words, not mine). Good luck ladies!
