Sunday 15 April 2012: Too Many Seagulls not Enough Dolphins
Bee waited a whole swimming session to tell us the story of the guys who were called to change the pool filter only to discover the carcasses of seagulls in it. They were so disgusted they refused to clean the other one. And given the job they do, these are guys who have probably seen EVERYTHING.
On the way home Evo and I got an emergency phonecall from Auntie L that there was a dolphin in the harbour. A Starsky and Hutch style handbrake turn was done, but we were too late. The reputedly intelligent bugger had followed the ferry to Shetland. Along with a flock of seagulls.
I was just glad the seagulls weren't flying in the direction of the swimming pool.
