Annie and Chris

Aldbury Church from the Bridgewater Monument

While Annie took our visitors to make travel connections, Chris took daughters Immy and Rosie to the Ashridge estate to check on the progress of the bluebells and for a saunter around the estate.

Today's blip, a view of the village church in Aldbury was taken from the Bridgewater Monument on the estate. A steep and narrow climb of 170 steps takes you 33 metres up to panoramic views, first of the estate and then way beyond. On a clear day you can pick out parts of the London skyline!

The bluebells are coming but probably a week or so from their very best.
