Monday 16 April 2012: Weird weather doings
It started chucking it down early this morning. Then it cleared and was just cloudy with the odd sunny break. The most amazing cloud formations passed my window today, massive storms to the north, then came some drizzle, then full on downpour with skies clearing a bit to the west so that the sun lit them, just a little. Pinks and oranges abounded for a short time. I believe there was a water spout seen out to sea but as quickly as it formed it disappeared - now that would have been a blip! So this was the sky to the west on Newcastle harbour this evening. I am waiting for the snow, sleet, hail and heatwave to come.
