Sunday 15 April 2012: Marathon de Paris

The Paris marathon went right through our neighbourhood on Sunday. J and I watched the runners come in for two hours from Place de Barcelone, about 13 kms from the finish.

This is Tirfi Beyene, the first woman to run past us and the female winner overall (in 2 hours 21 minutes and 40 seconds!).
