Saturday 14 April 2012: Sacré-Coeur, early morning
I saw my sister-in-law off on an overnight trip to Amsterdam at Gare du nord at 7:00am this morning. I've always wanted to see the sunrise over Paris from Sacré-Coeur so I took advantage of being up early and headed over there. Unfortunately, the cloudy sky meant the sunrise wasn't too impressive... what was most impressive was seeing the steps to Sacré-Coeur with no one on them, but these two guys sweeping up.
I put in a full day at the Bnf afterwards - thanks to my supportive partner who had a nice Saturday with our girls.
