In the heart of The Three Peaks

This is looking towards Ingleborough one of the famed Three Peaks. We skirted round the shoulder of Pen-y-ghent and on past Ingleborough and Whernside with the beauty of the Ribblehead viaduct in the distance. Weather was interesting, sun and hail. We stood on the watershed of England. Good and boggy patch round Cam Farm. Finished off in Langstrothdale, with a very pretty and peaceful section of The Dales Way to Buckden.
We missed Wimp Hill and decided against Dismal Hill, but didn't feel like wimps or dismal, just a bit footsore.

A mention to the flapjack and fudge maker of Horton, we couldn't resist and were glad we hadn't!
