Tuesday 17 April 2012: If I Didn't Have To See A Man About A Dog
I could
sit in that chair
and have one for the road.
I could
sit right down and
write myself a letter.
I could,
supposing I'd
nothing better to do,
stay there
until the cows
come home or rain stops play.
But I
do have things to
do and the chair's not mine.
