Tuesday 17 April 2012: Just arrived a moment ago.
Lunchtime and we have had two sheep have lambs already. Maybe they are getting their act in gear at last. Its quite sunny outside but the winds a bit nippy when you get out there, so i'm watching things from inside today.
This is one of our Moorit Shetland sheep. The Moorit refers to the brown colour of her fleece. This is Annie with her first lamb. She's never had lambs before but she's doing a great job at cleaning this little girl up and drying her off. She may even have another one. Their names will start with "A" after the mother.
