All About the Benjamins

A noted polymath, Ben Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, postmaster, scientist, musician, inventor, satirist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat.

He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and according to many historical counts, he was also quite the ladies man, old Benjamin was.

The lightning rod, bifocals, the Franklin stove, and the glass 'armonica' were just a few of BF's many inventions. In his heyday, Ben Franklin was a rock star, as they say.

In fact, Ben Franklin was so crazy popular that his buddies at the Fed minted him on the $100 bill also known as the "hundy" or "Benjamin".

Everyone in America loves Benjamin. Above, a young man pays homage to Benjamin on his way to the grocery.
