Tuesday 17 April 2012: AprilChallenge - Something You Don't Like

I took part in a similarly themed challenge AGES ago, so instead of repeating things that I hate (which haven't changed since) I thought I'd confess a real girly-wuss fear. I wasn't sure how to portray this dislike without going outside late on, and to be honest, I'm too tired :(

I don't like the dark. If Paul's around, fine. But when he works away, which he does a lot, I absolutely HATE switching off the lights last thing at night. I scamper up the stairs as if a monster is after me. A big one. With claws. That 3am trek to the toilets when you're camping? Couldn't do it without a torch. As for staying in a strange place, and waking up in the early hours - shudder. Daft, I know. But the kids have no idea I have this issue, so don't let on ;)

And no, she's not really asleep. An Oscar-winning performance from Anna, in my dark bedroom, for blip purposes. If you think this little monkey is ever asleep before 8.30pm, you've got another thing coming...
