Tuesday 17 April 2012: Making valves

This is William in the factory today making the final valves to complete an order of 150 pumps to the Ndole area of Zambia, to a wonderful organisation called Lifeline in Zambia.
With the forex and fuel crisis here we are waiting for a company in Lilongwe to supply us with some plastic solid bar since before Christmas. It is promised and promised so Harisen eventually decided to leave the volunteers to the Airport , drive the extra half an hour to the city and collect some seeds and the bars.
He also collected Katherine and Aoife who are volunteering with us for the next three and a half weeks. Precision stuff indeed.
The trip is almost 900 km in total and Harisen will have a late morning!!

The body of the late President will be flown in, in the morning, to lie in state for some time. I'm sure there will be some action and hopefully a little fuel after they all leave!!
