Tuesday 17 April 2012: Poser

Enthralled by 'Despicable Me' which Daddy bought her yesterday. As always, she didn't want to watch it but once it was on she just couldn't take her eyes off it.

We actually had a 'decently-behaved' day today; hurrah!!! We went to the post office, which is normally hell on earth as she wants to pull everything off the shelves and won't listen to me at all, and she was good! Not 'good as gold' but she didn't pull anything off the shelves and stayed in view while I dealt with the woman behind the counter. No strops!

Of course, there were plenty of strops at home but not as many as usual. I also got her a couple of reading books as she's slowly learning some 3-letter words so I figured I'd give it a shot. She's known her letters (and phonics) for a while now so I guess this is the next logical step; she loves books so we'll see what comes of it.

Amy bumped her head and has a big purple bruise (and bump!) under her hair, poor little thing. She is feeling very sorry for herself bless her but is fighting sleep. Methinks the boob will win; it always does...
